Background
Chris and the team at Laced got in touch with us via two client recommendations at the start of 2020.
Laced are an online marketplace for trainers/sneakers that are immensely popular – like the ever-growing Air Jordan brand. The Laced business allows users to sign-up, list and sell their trainers in a safe and secure way. Whilst allowing the customer to buy with full confidence that the product is ‘legit’.
Our challenge was to drastically improve the profitability of the paid accounts, expand into paid social, and start growing our organic presence in this huge market.
They had been running with Google Ads with another agency for about 8 months, with very mixed success – and returns of 200%-400%.
How Did We Do?
We quickly got to work on the paid accounts, pulling poor performers, restructuring campaigns, and implementing our winning strategies.
It wasn’t long until we started to see a dramatic improvement. Increasing revenue at a much lower CPA.
Our campaigns are now returning 4 times greater than when we took over the account – with a very happy client.
What About SEO?
We worked closely with Laced’s development partner on their custom-built platform, to ensure the setup is perfect for eCommerce. This lead to a ground-up rebuild of the structure of the website, allowing us to add categories, subcategories. It also gave us the ability to link products across different silos – and giving us the tools to create and implement a solid content strategy.
Almost 2 years down the line, our expectations were met and even exceeded! Traffic growth didn’t stop there, and with another massive boost in our rankings and traffic rankings, we started to see amazing gains and began competing with the major players in one of the toughest industries to compete in.
